Some improvement in numbers over the time period Husky Nan has provided is actually typical given Uconn's schedule which is very heavily front-loaded with very difficult games, followed by a much easier conference schedule, which will continue until the Tennessee game, and then get one more challenge with South Carolina a little later.

It is just the opposite for some teams from the power 4 that have a cupcake out of conference schedule, then start conference play with 4,5, or 6 ranked teams.

The stats are also very indicative of us playing small ball quite a bit. The things you expect to be better like assists, lower turnovers, fewer fouls etc. are, and areas where we usually dominate like blocked shots, and rebounding are not as good as most years.

The small ball effect is not just when we use say a big guard like Paige or Morgan at the 4, but also when Sarah a 4 is at the 5, or a true guard like Azzi or Ashlynn is at the 3.

Geno must be trying to win the 'sportsmanship award' with our fouls committed and free throws earned stats.

We may need to go pound on someone, to improve our ranking.

Our platoon of KK/Chen actually quite good on the primary goal of assists to our scorers.

Quiet Sarah Strong actually taking plenty of shots...and making them too. She's also our leader in rebounds, steals and blocks. (Paige must be furious.)
