Is this list accurate? Cam Whitmore is listed as UNC commit but last week said his top 3 were UNC, Nova, and Illinois. Is there a confirmation on UNC commitment?

Whitmore has not committed. The general consensus is it will be Villanova.

That would be good for the Big East, thanks for the update!

I think you have 2022 confused with 2023. We need the schollies for 2023 players. If Cole and Martin go and we filled their scholarships with 2022 players, we would only have Gaffney to replace in 2023 where we are recruiting Bowen, Griffith, Edwards, Wilcher, Castle, Miranda, Buzelis, Bradshaw, Middleton, etc. In 2022 I think Westry is the only name left that we have been mentioned with. If Cole and/or Martin leave, then as fans we need to root for a 2023 reclass or a 1 yr player.
I guess I need to have Scholarship Grid in front of me before I start commenting. I'll recuse myself from digging my hole further. Go Huskies!

Hurley has done amazingly well but let’s face it, UCONN and just about every other team is fighting an uphill battle in recruiting against the likes Duke, Kentucky, and UNC. They are fully locked and reloaded every year and CBS and ESPN give them the national tv exposure and promotion to continue that. I thought winning that last championship with KO would continue that but penalties , violations, and conference shift sent us into a tailspin. You recruit the best you can and then hope you get on a tourney run like in 2011 and 2014. Be in position like Nova has been able to do lately.

Remind me where I said that? Your hard-on for Hurley is weird dude. No one is infallible. I realize you talk to the staff, but you sound like a serious sycophant

lol… somehow I missed this

I think dude and hard-on are my favorite parts!

And you said it when you referenced a player talking about the recruiting pitch made to him.

I think it's time for an official 2023 recruiting page with composite rankings (On3 is a new, good recruiting website that should probably be used hand-in-hand with 247sports imo)

That’s completely fair. I guess I’m just a little crazy and recruiting is on my mind 24/7 lol. I’ve compiled lists of our recruits in my notes app for years now haha

I think his threads are all closed but Ty Rodgers committed to Illinois

Seems like in the end we backed off

On3 2023 Basketball Player rankings

Ahh good call. Read the wrong one. Figured he must have typed it wrong since they both ended in 6.

#26 seems a little high to me after watching his AAU performance. Kid is a ridiculous shooter but needs to add more to his game to take it to that next level.

Agreed, he needs to show he can get in the lane better but I've been high on this kid's game since I first saw tape a couple of years ago. He scores in bunches with his jumper and has deep range. Great length and good athleticism. He really blew up this summer in the rankings. Would love to get him in the program early.

Has anyone seen Bronny in person and if so do you feel like his ranking is justified?

Wonder what Yann Ferrells situation is? Feel like he'd fit well with this class.
I've seen him in AAU (PSA) . Slasher, sloppy handle at times. Quick, 6'7" athlete, appears to be developing a 3, can rebound and go a bit like AJax. Loves to pass, seems like a great teammate. Rivals has him ranked 88th, with FanfutureCast forecasting him to Pitt. I'm sure this has been addressed in the archives but have we offered Yann?

I appreciate your 2022 list, but I'm not playing any games, or even practicing.

What ?

Alabama is now a basketball school ?

2022 247 composite....#3 Class

National # 2, 10, 17, 61, 62

Have they, other than basketball Kentucky, discovered basketball in the SEC?

I guess they have, Auburn is really good and getting better. Jabari Smith is the real deal and could be the first pick in the draft. Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and now Alabama. Didn't know the tide had a class ranked that high. Wish they just stuck to Football.

SEC FB money and a willingness to cheat are a powerful thing.
