Good news for Dee. Also mentioned was an update on Charde's injury...

Forward Charde Houston, who went down with a left knee injury in the second quarter of the Mercury’s loss to Los Angeles on Tuesday and never returned, had an MRI on Thursday. The results were not immediately available. The team’s initial prognosis was a “hyperextended left knee.” Houston didn’t practice Thursday and is unlikely to play Friday.

Great news, obviously for Team USA, but also for the greatest WBB player ever, that she is learning how to cope with advancing age and the accumulation of injuries, so that she can extend her fantastic career much longer.

She could be more ready having had a break, refreshed and ready to go with some good physical training but without the wear and tear of the season.
