With all the attention on CW after last game (rightfully so), I thought it would be nice to show where Pheesa & Lou currently sit on the all-time scoring list. Especially, with it being Napheesa's homecoming night in St.Louis!

Scoring
1. Maya Moore- 3,036
2. Breanna Stewart- 2,676
3. Tina Charles- 2,346
4. KML- 2,178
4. Nykesha Sales- 2,178
6. Kerry Bascom- 2,177
7. Diana Taurasi- 2,156
8. Kara Wolters- 2,141
9. Rebecca Lobo- 2,133
10. Bria Hartley- 1,994
11. Renee Montgomery- 1,990
12. Svetlana Abrosimova- 1,865
13. Katie Lou Samuelson- 1,847
14. Tiffany Hayes- 1,801
15. Stefanie Dolson- 1,797
16. Napheesa Collier- 1,735

Lou passed Hayes & Dolson so far this season while Napheesa has passed Barbara Turner, Kia Nurse, Shea Ralph & Ann Strother. Not bad!

If they maintain their ppg, they'll end up 3rd and 5th. The only classmates with over 2000 career points. Impressive.

I'm kinda surprised y'all don't have more in the 3,000 point club. But when you have several scorers the same people don't have to put up 30ppg for you to win.

Too much talent from 1-5 and Geno getting everyone to buy into the TEAM is why you see that. Also, our girls tend to sit a lot in the 4th quarters.

They will play 32 more games this season if they get to the Final game.

If Lou averages slightly more than 20 ppg over that stretch, she will end up with 2500 points. Also will have 407 threes if she averages 3 per game the rest of the way. That will top KML. As a sophomore and junior, Lou averaged just over 3 threes a game.

If Napheesa averages 19 ppg over that stretch, she will finish 3 points short of Charles.

I know that individual numbers are not why they are playing, but it is interesting to speculate where they will end up when all is said and done.

I agree, I think its fun to see where they will end up at the end of there career. On the BU board we have one that has all the categories and show the updates after every game.

Crazy that Lou could be the 3pt leader considering the shooters that have come through UConn.

Why would that be crazy? KLS is one of the most proficient 3 pt shooters UCONN has ever had. And she shoots a lot of 3 pt shots.

We remember that the only person who ever held Michael Jordan to fewer than 20 points a game regularly was his coach, Dean Smith. Same story.

You make no sense.

I make total sense. It's people like you that make things on this board hard for other posters.

Please other UConn fans, please speak up? Is this quote not giving respect to those that have come through the UConn program. If it is not, I will own it. However, it was meant like WOW that is huge considering all the stars that have been at UConn. I mean you have some that will be the greatest Women's basketball Player's of all time. Many are multi time All Stars, MVP's, etc. So please shed light how I am not making sense. I am a Baylor fan. I do not watch every game UConn has or will play. However, I admire most of the athletes that come through Geno's difficult program.

"Crazy that Lou could be the 3pt leader considering the shooters that have come through UConn" If that makes no sense. Then I don't know what does.

I fully understood what you meant and it was not a slight to Lou! You’re welcome on our Board whenever you like and we appreciate your thoughtfulness about our beloved players, both past and present.

Most likely--if healthy--Lou will finish at #3 and Phee will finish at #5 (though 4 is possible).

What's the NCAA record for classmates on the same team--Plum and Osahor at about 5,000?

I'd have to look it up, but Osahor wasn't much of a scorer until her Sr. year. I'd guess she's in the 1,000 pt. range.

edited--1144 for Osahor
3527 for Plum

Thanks! That's 4,671. I wonder if that's a record.

That's an interesting question. Either you would have to have 2 really good scorers together, like KLS and Collier, or somebody on the all time top 10 scoring list paired with a decent complimentary scorer.

Yep. Another way to look at it--one of them has to have scored at least 2,336. UConn has had only 3 players do that--Tina, Stewie, and Maya. There just aren't that many 2,300-point scorers who have played--anywhere. We could have two 2,500-point scorers in the same class!

Felt like researching it...here are some players who graduated the same class and scored a combined 4000+ with their teammate. I'm sure there are several more I didn't find:

Cynthia Cooper and Cheryl Miller are close with 4577...they'd likely be much higher if they played 38-39 game seasons like they do now.

McGee twins combined for 4560 at USC, same thought process as above.

Kelsey Mitchell and Alexa Hart combined for 4537 at Ohio State.

Stiles and Mitchem combined for 4532...Mitchem was only there for 3 years though, so they'd likely be above Plum/Osahor if she played 4 years.

Beth Morgan/Katrina Gaither had 4448 at Notre Dame.

Shenise Johnson and Riqina Williams hit 4410 at Miami.

Beard and Tillis had 4399 at Duke.

Brittney Griner and Kimitria Hayden hit 4388 at Baylor

Miller twins had 4307 at Georgia. Played 3 years with Deanna Nolan too there.

Coleman/Toliver had 4283 combined at Maryland

Mavunga and Mitchell possibly would've topped the list if Mavunga played 4 years at Ohio state. Even in just 1.5 years of Mavunga, they combined for 4235 points. If you count Mavunga's years at UNC, they scored 5135 combined. They also they were different HS classes but finished at OSU at the same time.

Stewart and Jefferson had 4208 combined.

Catchings and Randall had 4128. They'd be a lot higher if Catchings didn't have her ACL.

Tashia Phillips and Amber Harris combined for 4100, they were different HS classes but same graduating year.

Little and Latta hit 4058 at UNC

Kelly Mazzante/Jess Brungo combined for 4061 at Penn State.

Paris twins had 4002 at OU.

On their way to joining this list besides Collier/Samuelson is this board's favorite duo of Marina Mabrey/Arike Ogunbowale. They're at 3471 right now. If you count Turner/Ogunbowale the same class, they're at 3535.

Some noteable duos who came close were:
Breanna Stewart/Morgan Tuck at 3974
Morgan William/Victoria Vivians at 3927
Chamique Holdsclaw/Kellie Jollie at 3919
