It is a matter of taste and aculturization. I'm totally use to 5 doing the work, not 3 thriving a little to much for my taste in the open space. A look at me pick up sorta game. We use to have an outdoor 3X3 tournament for guys that I did quite enjoy, but I suspect that had most to do with beer in the bleachers and the pure athleticism of the guys.

Congrats to Stewie and the Mist. $600K to be distributed among the players - 6 players on the team that's $100K each? Or do any go to the coaches, etc? Hell of a bonus on top of their already lofty salaries. Good for them!

What strikes me about the 3x3 game is that the players need to do a little bit of everything - score, pass, rebound, defend. I expect our Swiss army knife Ashlyn Shade to thrive in this format once she moves on to the pros.

Like you I initially tuned it out Unrivaled but lately have come around at least a little. OK, maybe it's to see Paige doing her thing along with the other UConn alums. Give it a chance. It can grow on you. Better than tuning into a NBA dunk fest.
