It will be BIG 5 with Caroline in there!
Scoring isn't everything. Nika had 8 boards 11 assists, 2 blocks, 5 steals, and a plus/minus of 58.

She will learn to pass out of double teams. That can be taught. Aggressiveness and effort can’tAyanna had a little difficulty putting the ball in the hoop but she got almost every loose ball and rebound.
She was too deep for a lot of those. A little bit of experience will tell her she’s better off kicking that out.Ayanna had a little difficulty putting the ball in the hoop but she got almost every loose ball and rebound.
Even though it was just an exhibition, it was very disappointing regarding Amari. It doesn’t make any sense to me why she seems to be struggling to find her role in the system. All the skills are there—similar shooting range to Dorka, similar size/length. She seemingly even has some of the vision that made ONO such a terrific post passer. All the pieces are there for her to be successful but it’s not coming together for some reason. Someone else mentioned her energy and effort just doesn’t seem to be at the same level as the rest of the team and I suspect that’s part of the struggle in practice that Geno has mentioned in the past.Seems like a great kid but it’s this year or never to start making meaningful contributions. What’s up with Amari? This is suppose to be the year she takes a big leap?
Who said this is suppose to be the year she takes a big leap? Has Geno said that? What’s up with Amari? This is suppose to be the year she takes a big leap?
If it was expected for incoming freshmen to play more than a sophomore who knows the system at this point , thats not a great sign for that players future.Who said this is suppose to be the year she takes a big leap? Has Geno said that?
Whose minutes would be reduced so Amari could have more? Even against Kutztown State and Caroline not playing, Amari only had 10. If Ice hadn't gotten injured Amari would get very little PT. When Geno decided to put her in the game today that was a pretty good indicator of his assessment.
