Uniform "Update"

i said it before, i'll say it again:
if UConn ever makes the "qui transtulit sustinet"(QTS) alternate football uniform I've been suggesting, I think those would be an instant HIT marketing wise.

imagine something like the following: The Pitt panthers uniform; blue shirts, yellow pants. Pitt has yellow helmets, but I say we go with blue helmets to match the state flag. somewhere on the uniform just a dash of purple accent and maybe green, to represent the grapevines.
Main helmet decal is the CT State Seal, with a secondary small block C sticker on the rear panel.

IDEA 2 - would be snow white uniforms with a royal blue (not navy) or white helmet with the state flag logo on it, and blue/yellow/purple/green accenting throughout the jersey & pants, tasetfully.

I think that'd be fireeeeeeeeeee

Okay, have at it.

This year's uniform tweaks - red Nike swooshes, thick blue collar on the white jerseys.

The translation "He who transplanted sustains" feels so pertinent to the UConn athletic program. I'd have goosebumps if I ever saw these run thru the tunnel

what does the translation mean to you?

May be a way to get more eyes on the team/games for the casuals. Not to the extent Oregon does their uniform swaps, but a week with the state logo above, a week with the white helmet Blue C, a week with blue helmets and old Husky logo or the script UConn logo.

I was in marketing. The block C is classic, simple, and instantly identifiable. The blue jerseys and white pants combination looks professional, like the NFL. Blue jerseys and blue pants are high schoolish (or middle schoolish).

Looks like they thought more of the blue jersey and blue pants
