Those uniforms are to honor the armed forces. Some college other than the military academies will sport camo uni's UNC, Texas Tech and others have done it for Wounded Warrior etc.

Sorry. I think it is totally inappropriate and in a sense a phony act to honor the armed forces. Too much of that these days.

I must agree. While a small patch might be sufficient, the full camouflage uniform smacks a bit of "stolen valor", even though unintended. Leave the wearing of military uniforms to those who earned it.

I agree, out of all the AI generated, this one and the all white uni were the two I asked for.

Love the all blue with chrome helmet. The grey alternate uni on the right was interesting. We've had men's grey basketball uni's so why not?

UConn wore camo jersey's in basketball. I get what you're saying. The football team honored the armed forces with an American Flag themed block C

That chrome lid that @B1GEast put up is super slick! The more I see it, the more I like it as it shows flash without being trash.

I asked ChatGPT to give me a rendering of the uniform using a concept helmet that was previously shown a few years back using the previous husky logo. I asked for block C off the shoulder, and this is what came back:

The block C rendering is off, I previously had the AI use our standard block C but what it rendered made me gag.

On a somewhat unrelated tangent, I never realized how Creighton's block C looks like a running version of ours...kinda like Hyundai using Honda's H and then thinking italicizing would make it sooo unique.

White/Blue or Blue/White. Pants should have piping consisting of the jersey color and red. The Jersey should have stripes on sleaves consisting of the pant color and red. The block number style stays as is.

I can get on board with the all-the-time blue helmet and to solve the wolve head vs. Block C debate, might I suggest numbers on the side of the helmet? I could also get on board with the Mid/late 90s style helmet design (Red "U," White "Conn" or White block letter UCONN outlined in Red).

How very Penn State. Let's at least move into this century. Come on, it's common place for teams to have flashy alternate uni's.

I like your suggestion of a stripe on the pants. Some minor embellishments added. It's a neat alternate home uniform.

Except not.

Penn State has only white helmets and no red accents anywhere. They have piping, a simple sleeve strip, and helmet numbers only on their alternates, which otherwise look exactly like their Blue Top uniform. Their numbers are not the same style either. Theirs are simple block characters. There is no blue and white (or red) outline.

Finally, I was not proposing an alternate. My proposal was for the week in/week out uniform. Alternates are meh.

I love UConn football. I've had tickets for going on 24 years, and it's a great place to meet up with longtime friends who I see so seldom, but it might be time to recognize exactly what UConn football is as an Independent in the NIL age. UConn is a stepping stone for HS recruits, and FR & SO portal players. It's a place where upperclassmen, who would otherwise be buried on a P4 roster, to get out from under, maximize their playing time, and hopefully catch the eye of an NFL scout.

Until the status of UConn's conference affiliation changes, it's AAA baseball. It's a quality product and enjoyable enough around which to plan a full Autumn day with a bunch of friends, but for whom it counts, it's generally a means to the players' end. The uniform is not going to change that.
