Also, I found this odd... the new logo not avail until July 1, 2014... a typo? OR is there an exclusive period to certain licensees?

Since the new logo was designed by Nike, I would think they have a period of exclusivity before any other licensees can get in on the party.

All teams in this new conference will be wearing this conference logo patch design in team colors.

The logo is the Titanic sinking with members fleeing in lifeboats...
