Undefeated teams, part 2 (merged)

Once it gets down to two schools, UConn and the other school, UConn should have the Top half of the US, including Alaska and the other school should have the bottom half of the US, including Hawaii.
I don't think UConn will pick up much territory either way. If Vandy loses Tech would get a fair bit of their terrain. Based on the way the map is divided up now, Vandy would probably take over all of Tech's territory if TT loses first. Now if UConn is the last remaining unbeaten, then they would get it all of course.

There must be a way to measure this. According to Massey their SOS is currently 50 and will end the season at 15, which implies a tough remaining schedule but I don't see an obvious way to calculate the strength of schedule of the remaining schedule.

Massey has expected remaining losses at 6.34 which is the most among any of the top 20 teams. You have to get down to Alabama to find the team with more expected losses, and and that's more due to being a weaker team than a stronger schedule.
Vanderbilt has played a schedule comparable to LSU so far this season. The difference in the LSU game was a missed foot out of bounds that would have given the ball back to LSU with a chance for the win. If they do end up losing 6 they will still be a high seed based on being in the SEC and their connection to ESPN.

Right now it is UConn and everyone else is faily far behind them.

Undefeated Texas Tech, who’s been living on borrowed time all season, goes down today at home to 9-9 Kansas St, 65-59. That leaves the Commodores and the Huskies as the 2 remaining undefeated teams in WBB.

UConn has been there many times. I have no doubt that Geno is immensely proud of Shea and what she has accomplished at Vandy

Everything Texas Tech had is closer to Nashville than to Storrs, so Vanderbilt will get the test of the map. Connecticut's piece won't change. I imagine Neptune_the_Mystic will post a new map on Reddit today or tomorrow.

So UConn has the top half of the United States, including Alaska and Vandy has the bottom half of the United States, including Hawaii.

Based on the geography math used to make the map, UConn's territory will be unchanged, and Vanderbilt will have everything else.

Great game Monday - #5 Vandy vs. #8 Michigan

Great game. Very competitive. Texas Tech had a good run, but they’re not top 10 material by any stretch.
Top 10? Honestly I don’t think they are top 25 but Christa played the schedule like a fiddle with cupcakes galore and a less than difficult first part of Big 12schedule. I am not sold that this is a good team AT ALL. But I have been wrong before…

They beat Baylor in Waco, who is currently among the 3 leaders of the Big 12 (TTU and TCU are the other 2). Also beat West Virginia on the road, not the easiest place to play. I don't care how easy their OOC was, and they were hardly alone in doing that. I'm impressed they got to 19-0. This is a program that has done nothing for quite some time.

THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!!! I'm assuming Shea learned well under Geno's coaching and wish her well ' until if and when they should meet, then no holds barred. It would definitely be a classic match because of the circumstances that the two coaches are involved in. To reiterate, I don't believe there is a team that can beat Uconn. Time will tell. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!

Why is it hard to play in Morgantown? Average attendance is 3,618 so it’s not the massive hostile crowds. Maybe it’s the Mountaineer that shoots off a musket before the game? Upperclass players at UConn never told freshmen about him before visiting Morgantown the first time and it always scared the bejeezus out of the first time visitors. (To the great amusement of the upperclassmen) Other than him, I’m not sure what’s so scary about playing at WVU

Based on the geographic closeness of each county in the U.S. to each undefeated school.
So, if the last 2 undefeated teams were UConn and the University of Hartford, the University of Hartford would have almost the whole country, right to the Pacific Ocean? This doesn't make a lot of sense.

UHart is not division 1
