I posted (#69) the updated list of uncommitted Top-100 players a little while ago,and aside from #18 Cooper there has been little movement. There are still 18 players on the list along with the schools still in play for those players. #27 Paris is going to announce in a few days.

Interestingly, although it will undoubtedly change between now and a year from now, many of the highly ranked players from the 2023 class Top-60 have already put out a "finalists" list. I don't recall ever seeing so many "finalists" lists from top ranked players this early. It does reveal some interesting trends however and some schools who will be beneficiaries.

Which schools in particular do you think stand to benefit from these 23 top players list.
;) Asking on behalf of a fanatic.
Thanks in advance.

Flaujae is going to announce her decision soon between Ole Miss, Texas, LSU and Miami. Interestingly Georgia is not an option anymore?

Does not look like Georgia is still under consideration:

Did she not end up visiting Ole Miss this past weekend?
She visited Ole Miss this summer I believe.

No clue what to think. She seemed to really love Miami but I dont know how to read athletes anymore.

Miami was her first official visit; Texas was second; LSU was third. If she visited Ole Miss in the summer, it must have been an unofficial.

6'5 Maggie Mendelson out of Utah re-classified from 2023 to 2022 a couple of weeks ago. She was ranked Top 20 or so for 2023 by most recruiting services. No verbal commitment. Wants to be play both volleyball and basketball in college. She's unofficially visited Nebraska and Texas; perhaps some others.

Top-60 2023 players with "finalists" lists and schools "in play" for those players:

(#9,#21,#35,#39,#47 have already committed)

#3,#4,#5,#6,#8,#17,#19,#23,#29
*Only 3 of top 10 ranked players left w/o a finalist list or a committment!

Stanford - 6/7(#5,#17,#19,#23,#29)UR A.Whiting
1 commit(#39)

Notre Dame - 6(#4,#5,#8,#19,#23,#29)

UConn - 5(#3,#4,#5,#6,#8)

Duke - 5(#3,#4,#6,#8,#23)

Oregon - 5/6(#4,#6,#17,#19,#29)UR A.Whiting

NC - 4(#3,#5,#8,#19)

Louisville - 4(#5,#6,#8,#19)

USC -4(#4,#17,#19,#29)

UCLA - 4/5(#4,#19,#23)UR A,Whiting
1 commit(#21)

Arizona - 3/4(#4,#17,#19)UR A,Whiting

Texas - 3(#4,#6,#17)

SC - 2(#6,#8) Tenn. - 2(#5,#6) KY - 2(#8,#19)
Ore.St. - 2(#23,#29) Wash. - 2(#23,#29)
Vandy - 2(#3,#5)

Teams with 1 commit: Ark.(#9), Mo(#35), Mich.St,(#47)

Teams with 1 on a player's finalist list:
MD, Baylor, NW, FSU, Penn St., Ohio St., LSU, Texas A&M, Ind., Cal, Miss.,Fla., Gonz., Marq., TCU, Villanova,Wis.,and Va.

Early conclusions: The top 2 will remain the top 2
(UConn and Stanford) with SC losing a little ground
but still #3. If any school is going to become that #4 team consistently it will come from the usual suspects of Arizona,Louisville, and Oregon or a rapidly ascending Duke,NC,and ND

Maryland and Baylor are slipping and LSU will need to rebuild. USC and UCLA are on the way up.

Are you sure it is class of 2023?

According to ESPN HG only #9 in top 20 has committed to Arkansas.

It confused me too but I believe Rooster is saying only three players in the Class of 2023 haven't released a Finalists list yet. So they are unknown as to where their recruitment is headed or at right now. The numbers listed were showing players who have finalist lists released in co2023. The parenthesis were the committed players in that class.

Interesting how many unproven new P5 coaches are attracting recruits compared to established P5 coaches....ND,NC,Duke,Wash.,Vandy,Miss.St. for examples.
Indiana,NC State,Wash.St.,WV,Ala., all made the tournament last year but are struggling by comparison to get recruits.

#65 Amiya Evans announcing later today. Her top 5 are Miss.St., Arizona St.,Miami,Kentucky, and UCF.

Doubt that it's Miss.St. and don't believe it will be Miami....

She is down to Kentucky, Miami, and UCF. With Miami already having Spearman and Oldacre, I'll guess Kentucky.

That would be my guess as well but obviously I hope I'm wrong.
