For all the Bill self hate, they guy is very good at 2nd half adjustments.

Worst possible time for that Bacot injury. Not that any time is good, but that was killer.

Entertaining game for sure. Congratulations Hudson Hawk. It sucks that Kansas tie UConn with 4 but it’s better than seeing UNC win a title .
but I can’t even hate on UNC or Duke too much because both of them wanted UConn in The ACC

I'm always surprised more teams don't use that Laettner play from '90 in that situation.
 
They wouldn't have got here w/o him but man, Caleb Love played one of the worst "big games" from a guard you will ever see.
 
Hubert Davis needed to call one of his final two timeouts with :59 left when there was :06 on the shot clock after Martin deflected the ball out of bounds. You know, so that Bacot doesn't get fed the ball 22 feet from the basket with 5 seconds on the shot clock.

UNC is talented, but man they play some dumb basketball.

Congrats @HuskyHawk. For any UConn fans who were dreading Kansas tying UConn in National Championships. Nobody else cares, time for the Huskies to be back in the mix and win another one.

Yeah there was no difference in the defense, rebounding, offense just stand around and let UNC miss. :rolleyes:
 
I really like this KU team. They have a bunch of guys that stuck around the program for their entire college career and one senior transfer that won this title. If I was a fan of that team this would be by far my favorite with the local guys making a huge impact and long term players. Great CBB squad.

He did tweak his ankle so not sure how much that affected his play.

Gotta give credit to KS for playing him tight as well. He was well guarded throughout the game, but he missed several crucial layups in that 2nd half.

Yea a bunch of like low end 4 star local kids. Self did a really good job.

Martin is as competitive as anyone I’ve seen this year.
