My recommendation: watch more mid-major basketball. Chances are the teams might not be as talented, but they are older, more skilled and know the game better than most top-20 basketball teams.

Or, watch high-major teams that slowly build along their players or than others: Purdue, Virginia, Houston, UCLA, Virginia Tech...
