Honestly I'm not complaining because I like how our bottom bracket but good lord if you can't be motivated with how our league was treated than you will never be motivated as a basketball player.

They basically yawned at us for beating Memphis and Cincy.
 
They disrespected Louisville by giving them a four seed but they absolutely screwed Wichita St by giving them a one in the same bracket where Louisville is a four.

Really a head-scratcher. I guess you can point to UMass's better RPI although alone shouldn't have them with a better seed than us. Can someone explain why St. Louis has a better seed than us? We have a better RPI, more top 25 wins, more top 50 wins, better record in our last 12...............
 
The NCAA guy explaining New Mexico and UMASS made no sense. If it's strength of schedule how could UMASS be ranked higher than us? Did they beat Florida? Memphis? Cincinnati? How many top 25 wins do they have? What a joke.

I will tell you what though…….hate to jinx our game but I would rather have St Joes than the winner of Iowa/Tennessee…….

I think we are all learning the hard way what it's like to be in a mid-major league. If the criteria is play and win OOC games, we did that. But apparently when it came to evaluating us, the criteria shifted to what conference you play in.
 
Maybe we should go independent in hoops and play the carnival circuit like the Harlem Globetrotters?

Exactly. Look at the list of teams he is thumping his chest about beating. It's a who's who of seeds 8-12.
 
One word for UMASS fans : FLORIDA (#1 overall seed)....and we beat them.
 
UMass is screwed. Iowa and Tennessee are way better than UMass on kenpom.

Winner of that play-in game beats UMass by a dozen (or more).
 
The 7 is nasty, 'Ville getting a 4 is nasty,
SMU being cut too. We were screwed. Nothing to do but win beyond our seed.
