Would be easy to say yes because a FF bid was at stake, but there have been so many epic games & moments for UConn at the Garden ('88 NIT, Dream Season, Ray Ray '96, The UConn-Pitt battles, Kemba's ankle-breaker & 5w in 5 days). Hard to equate them all because some were stepping stones towards future success.

But IMO this may have topped them all - given everything this program has been through the last couple years, it's a statement win for the university that we never left and are not going away.

It's like picking a favorite child. They're all beautiful and I love them all equally, but in slightly different ways.

I have to let this one settle before I rank it. But I will never forget where I was when Nolan went coast to coast and dunked for the win

I'd go with Kemba's 5 in 5, this game, then Ray's game winner in '96.

So hard to choose………….Chris Smith's lay up and foul as he fell to the ground, helped up by Tate in 99-00 where you could see him say to Tate "it went in?" to win our 1st BE will always be real hard to top but this was special in it's own way, Elite 8 vs a Goliath……….real special stuff. The good news is we do have a few to choose from! Love the Garden……….

I'm sure you meant '89-90.
