George Springer just hit a 3-run jack to put the Blue Jays up 4-3 in the bottom of the 7th inning.
A potential Blue Jays all-time moment...
Greatest post season hitter in history. Who would’ve guessed.UConn should tweet this to everyone in USA and Canada and let them know where it all started for George. Just my 2 cents.
And his dad.George, former UConn football player! It might be common knowledge here but shout out to his hometown New Britain too

He was jumping pretty well for a guy with a knee contusion. All due to adrenaline, I’m sure. That was crazy last night. I could see the adrenaline seeping out of his pores. He couldn't calm himself down he was so amped. The last half of his year has been legendary. Here's this:

I was hoping that he would have ended up in Boston when he left Houston. Matt Barnes was still on the Sox at the time and they were roommates at UConn.Always followed him. So many clutch HR over the years but this takes the cake. Love that he had a tough year last year but followed it up with a great one this year.
The Sox pay market value for a winning ballplayer? 😂I was hoping that he would have ended up in Boston when he left Houston. Matt Barnes was still on the Sox at the time and they were roommates at UConn.
Thought the way he played that he really fit the 'dirt dog' mentality of the team at the time.I was hoping that he would have ended up in Boston when he left Houston. Matt Barnes was still on the Sox at the time and they were roommates at UConn.
It’s a nice factoid, but honestly it has no historical significance. The expansion of the playoffs (3/5 to 4/7) to also include all the wild card and lds,lcs has really diluted this stat imoSpringer now has 23 career post season HR's which puts him tied for 3rd all-time.
