UConn's exhibition opponents

A look at UConn's preseason opponents' season so far:

Ft. Hays is 2-0 with wins over Upper Iowa (66-32) and Southwest Minnesota State (84-42), both on the road. Four young players, freshmen Kasey Kennett and Taylor Rolfs and sophomores Tatyanna Legette and Carly Heim, are averaging double figures in scoring in the early going.

No. 1 ranked Ashland is also 2-0 with road wins, one over Ohio Dominican (115-60) and the other a buzzer beater, 79-78, over Cedarville. Senior Laina Snyder is averaging 21.5 points per game.

So, that makes UConn a lot better than Upper Iowa, SW Minn. State, Ohio Dominican, and Cedarville.

Lots of reasons then to be optimistic for UConn's season!

Glad to see those 2 teams having early season success. I have to imagine that playing UCONN did a lot to prepare them for the upcoming season. I tried looking up the rankings - it appears Ashland is 24? I thought they were higher. Maybe they were #1 last season?
