UPDATE - Nov 2 - STORRS, Conn. – The fifth-ranked UConn women's basketball team will take the court for the first time in the Huskies' first exhibition Sunday against Jefferson at 1 p.m. in Gampel Pavilion.


The game will be streamed for free on uconnhuskies.com. A video tab was added last night.

That "audio" label has been there for some time. The post I refer to was posted TODAY. The men's game vs St. Michael's on Oct 30 was "video" live streamed (which can be seen on demand). Title 9 would suggest the women's game will be also.

Yeah, exact same thing happened with the men's game. It was listed as "audio only" up until gameday then a video stream was available.

It's also the same for College Sports Live which posts "Audio Only" usually until the last minute. The advantage of All Access is, of course, they don't charge.

If there is a video stream, you most likely will find a replay available -HERE- typically within 24 hours.

I think that's just the pre-game. The game itself starts at 1pm, and is marked free.

I am watching the stream for free and I just have one question: why does the director cut away from every foul shot to a screen shot of the husky logo? I know we suck from the foul line but how can we offer advice to Geno on how to improve if we can’t observe and analyze???

We get the video on the arena screen. Apparently no one there is aware that their video is going out on a stream. It's the same every year. I can only hope that the video producer is an unpaid volunteer.

I am assuming for the next exhibition game it’s going to be the same, free viewing. I couldn’t get it to play on my computer using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, but I was able to watch it on my iPhone with Safari. I have no idea why, but the browser makes a difference apparently.
