The big difference with UConn right now is UConn is healthy meaning Azzi is back. Griff is on her way and Morgan and Ice will need some time. Having Azzi gives us the big 3. Seeing Jana @ SC gives us a new look. I do understand it will be a little up and down over the next couple of weeks until we become more consistent. I will make a bold statement and say with a healthy team and with an improved Jana UConn is the team to beat. Followed by ND and I feel the NC could very well end up being ND and UConn.

UCLA Texas and UConn have bigs. UConn now. That will be the deciding factor. UConn has a lot of great shooters not just one or two.

Last season may have been Genos greatest accomplishment based on the injuries and all UConn had to overcome. This season if healthy could be right there. Paige Azzi and Sarah are second to none. Shade KK and Jana just add to our great finish to this season

I know a lot of us are still glowing from the win against SC, and maybe rightfully so. But for me I’m gonna need to see a few more data points that thus team can consistently play at this level or close to it. At this point we’ve seen 3 losses where UCoNn didn’t play their best and only one game where they played close to it. Let’s temper our expectations about us being #1 or the best team since we have three #1 recruits. As we all know rankings dont necessarily translate to production at this level.

I don't know about any of you, but the thought of UConn being the betting favorite to win the tournament terrifies me, for reasons of karma. There is also the practical reality that the team that dominated SC is also the team that came out flat as a flapjack against Seton Hall.
I don't bet, but I think the two teams to watch in the tournament are ND (Hidalgo is as they get, at least against UConn) and UCLA (assuming Betts is healthy).
Don't get me wrong: UConn should win the next games and the Big East tournament and in the NCAAs, they have a chance, and it'll be a very interesting tournament to watch, but anyone who thinks the Huskies are the favorite is delusional.

I have a lot of faith in Genos coaching. ND is tuff but so is UConn now. UCLA has Betts USC has Juju Texas has a big too SC dosnt and SC does not have a go to player. UConn does not have to depend on one scorer to carry them. Now with Azzi and Griff back and Shade hitting shots UConn has more options then any other team in WCBB. ND is second. Jana will become a reliable big over the next few weeks something that will help UConn. However UConns defense much like last season in the NCAAs will stifle many teams. Barring injuries imo the only way UConn can loose from here on out if they beat themselves.

two person? what about Miles, Citron, Westbeld, Karlen? ND is the one team no one wants to play.
Heck, I disagree, I would bet that a lot of the players and most on the BY would love to see ND go down in flames to our Huskies
