Top 8th, Garbowski leads off with a double, and Minick gets a 1 out walk. The UConn offense leaves both runners on base. 6-1 Xavier.

Peters takes the mound for UConn.
 
Bottom 8th, Peters gives up a leadoff double, with 1 out he gives up a 2 run homer, 8-1 Xavier.

Peters leaves 2 runner on base.

The UConn offense loads the bases with no outs. A no out error on a ball hit back to the pitcher brings in a run and leaves the bases loaded. 8-3 Xavier.

A no out walk by Rispoli brings in another run, 8-4 Xavier.

A sac fly by Minick for the 1st out brings in another run, 8-5 Xavier with runners on the corners.

Daniels with a fielders choice ground out for the 2nd out brings in another run, 8-6 Xavier.

Xavier wins 8-6.

Another disappointing read, especially after the leadoff homer. Uugh!

I will be doing my inning posting during the 1st game, not sure how much I will be able to be doing in the 2nd game, but we will see.

Top 1st, 1st 2 UConn batters are hit by pitches. Rispoli moves to 3B on a fly out for the 1st out, Biller follows with stealing 2B, so 2 runners in scoring position with 1 out. A sac fly for the 2nd out by Daniels moves up both runners, 1-0 UConn.

MacArthur is hit by a pitch, so runners on the corners with 2 outs. Root follows with a 3 run homer, 4-0 UConn.

The UConn offense leaves a runner on base after a 2 out Padilla single. 4-0 UConn.

Bottom 1st, Suchy gives up a 1 out double, a wild pitch moves the runner to 3B. A 1 out single drives in a run, 4-1 UConn.

Suchy retires the next 2 batters to end the inning, 4-1 UConn.
 
Top 2nd, Shpur has a leadoff single, he steals 2B with no outs. Rispoli follows with a single that puts runners on the corners. Rispoli steals 2B. Minick walks to load the bases with 1 out. A Daniels sac fly for the 2nd out drives in a run, Rispoli is thrown out trying to advance to 3b for the final out of the inning. 5-1 UConn.
