Have we heard who will have the rights to televise the UCONN Women next year?

Decision won't be made until around the time of the Final Four.

I hope CPTV can get the games again and this time broadcaste it in 3D so they can continue to tell us about their added expense and how we owe them for carrying the game..... and they did it in HD because we all told them to do that (or did we?)

What other contender for the broadcast rights would devote something like 6 hours to our team today. GO CPTV!! Do I love pledging? No. Do I contribute? Yes. Without CPTV the UConn WBB fan experience changes radically and not for the good.

I made my second contribution of the year to CPTV today. As annoying as the fundraising can be, it would be a lot more annoying to see the Huskies on a station like SNY without any of the special family/caring feeling that one gets with CPTV.

It always comes to the same thing -- people listening to stuff they don't have to listen to so they can complain about it... m.u.t.e.b.u.t.t.o.n in combo with WTIC serves me quite well.

Rumor has it that next year the advertising thrust will be raising money to buy out Culmo's contract. That should fill the coffers based on what I read here at times.

BothMeghan and Bob are fine with other partners. When Eric Frede subs for Bob, Meghan is much more focused and less chatty. And when that lady that does the WNBA games (forgot her name) subbed for Meghan, Bob was terrific. He's also great doing men's games. Maybe Meg and Bob are just too familiar with one another that they tend to chat like old friends?

That's exactly my opinion Nan, it's the interaction between Bob and Megan that's gone stale. Nothing wrong with either of them as announcers. Just get a little more rotation in the announcing teams with Eric and LaChina.

Made my contribution today and hope CPTV gets another long-term contract carrying the women's games. One of the reasons we feel so comfortable complaining about them is that they are like family. Go CPTV.

And like family . . . I'm worried about Mary.

She is truly a UConn fan and one of my favs.

CPTV is a perfect fit for UCONN WB. The winter sun always rises with their positive vibes, they laugh and chat with all of us, like a family dinner on sunday. What a loss if change happens.

I feel that CPTV has served the women's program very well. It's a kind of home atmosphere with them trying to get us to contribute with their wares. I am in trepidation with SNY coming in with their big money. The fans will get shortchanged in viewing some of the games with a new contract. As for streaming games, forget about it.

Nan I feel the same way. Bob, particularly is much better without Megan and the inside UConn information. Meg also does better with Eric because she doesn't have to play to Bob. My guess we will see less of Bob next year on CPTV because he is getting other gigs that pay more. ( I am assuming CPTV does the games next year).
