What a game! I was on edge for both OTs. Tia Chen was amazing in goal for the Huskies, so many kudos to her. So glad the ladies managed to pull off the W — in dramatic fashion!

BTW the crowd looked pretty awesome. Looked like a full house which is cool for a women's hockey game, even if a conference championship one. Glad to see women's hoops isn't the only women's sport that gets a nice following/crowd...

There’s a heavy northeast tilt here. Three teams from Connecticut, one from Massachusetts, one from New Hampshire, one from New Jersey, and one from Pennsylvania.

Went to a NY Sirens game (had a blast) and got into a really interesting discussion about women's hockey schools, where players come from (national/international) and an interesting tidbit: Michigan doesn't have any D1 w hockey schools. Say WHAT?

Anyhoo--- if you can get to a PWHL game, go. Quality is high because there are so few teams. Prices is super reasonable, too.

My daughter's fiancé came over to watch the women's hockey at the Olympics, and being Canadian and a hockey player, I figured he'd be pretty bored. After about five minutes he was shocked at the fact that the women's game was just as fast as the men's, they were playing just as tough, and in his words, "their offense is so much better organized..."

UConn falls short. They successfully killed a 5 on 3 power play, and had some good chances, but couldn't quite finish.
