Clarkson has released their hockey schedules for the upcoming season. The UConn Women will be traveling to Potsdam for two the first weekend in October. This should be an awesome matchup.

I don't think I saw this here, so I'll post it. Great news for the league who will now have arguably the two best goaltenders in the nation at UConn and BU. Perhaps not so good for UConn. I saw Michelle Pasiechnyk in 2024 in the NCAA semis in Durham. Clarkson had played a five OT quarterfinal the previous Saturday and it was a Thursday game. For long stretches Pasiechnyk stood on her head to preserve a tie game until late in the third. She was voted the nation's best that year.

The grey ones are ugly and will not provide enough contrast with the black puck on a pad save. Not good for the defense to clear the zone.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why the men's and women's sweaters don't have the same design?
 
Thinking of going up to Clarkson in three weeks. That should be a two day battle,

Exhibition game tomorrow at 3:00 at Quinnipiac. We will be watching the UConn Band marching on the field at the Rent at about that time before the Ball State game.

And the score of exhibitions are pretty much meaningless as the coaches are trying out different lines, trying out different defensive pairings, and giving bubble players their last and best chance to convince them. But it will be interesting nonetheless.

Especially since it is Quinnipiac. Need more be said?

Well, a 3-0 loss. Tia gave up 2 on something like 9 shots in the first. The first goal being at the 24 second mark. USCHO had an unreliable box score.
