That's the stuff.I don't normally post on the Women's board. In fact this might be my first...but I need to clear this up for my own sanity.
You are concerned that the winning team of the national championship game (read: final game for a roster, as currently constituted, that will never play together again.) was outscored for the final 13% of the game? You are aware that the team build up a 30 point lead over the first 35 minutes, right?
Talk about borrowing trouble from tomorrow. Did you have money on the game?

There's a definite risk when newbies to the women's board take what they read here seriously. My suggestion is you read this board every day for six months to get familiar with the the denizens of this, the best wcbb message board on the 'Net.
Sniff, sniff ... Husky25, we hardly knew ye.Not necessary. I won't be coming back. Not worth my time.

Yeah, but you are finally catching on.Amen to that, brother...!
Bridgeport Fire Department???I say .

I couldn't agree more. It took Geno and the rest of the coaching staff 5 full years to finally figure out that Heather was being used defensively in the wrong position. Finally in the last game of her career, they moved her to defensive point guard and look how almost immediately she contributed with a steal. We HAVE to get better coaches.I know, I know! It is a very disturbing trend heading into the new year. blah blah And also why players are not transferring in droves to escape the terrible coaching at Uconn!)

I don't get embarrassed over women's basketball. I watch it so infrequently that I really don't have anything to add normally. I think by virtue of athletic ability, the womens game is more fundementally sound, but there are just so many 96-45 games that I can really get into. I saw the thread title and commented...period.Methinks someone is feeling a tad embarrassed?
