Great start to the year for Giffey. Seems to be carrying over frm his stint with the German National Team. I think he shot like 70% for them (though somewhat limited attempts).

These new rules are really making for choppy play.I hope these refs are able to establish a baseline for what's allowed and Uconn can adjust.

The offense is so fluid now. the players on the court are talking and cheering to each other.
Chemistry is brewing right in front of our eyes.

I like KO's coaching decision today.

.-.
So zero points from Daniels and Boatright = 39 halftime points and a 15 point lead. Yeah I'll take it.

Calhoun is all business trying to get straight buckets. He saw Giffey showing out ,it invigorated him. I like kromahs ball handling more than either though.

Haft time: 39-24.

As I commented on the 3 prediction thread:

Boat's minutes will be coming from the bench, and he will be occasional players on the starting lineup.

DD needs to be more assertive and confident while he is on the court. His hesitation and timidness in the first few minutes has cost him the playing time in the entire first half.

I am off to take my kid to Takedo class. Hopefully they continue to beat down on Elis.

Bazz not looking to score in the first half similar to last year, getting his teammates involved and on the scoreboard. He always seems to shoot more in the second half. This could turn into a really ugly game in the second half if Bazz decides to fill it up.

If other players continue to produce Bazz will continue to pass!

It's Yale. They are taking advantage of what's there. No need for anyone to get aggressive here. I like watching Shabazz and DD hang back to facilitate things for the new players.

Nolan showed some back to the basket moves.

that's what a REAL PG does. He get his Co. involved. He knows this and this is why it makes him so great.

The new rules were suppose to increase scoring. You know what else increases scoring? Not calling a foul on a fast break that has no bearing on the business end of said fast break.

Nothing should have been called there, but if it HAD to be it should have been an intentional

i loved nolans attitude on that post shot. he knew that kid couldn't guard him

I disagree with every thing you said here. we play consistently, no matter who we are playing. We bring our games night in and night out.

BTW, DD is facilitating, you mean, from the bench?

One big advantage to soccer is the "play the advantage" judgment.

Gary Apple really pushing this 17-point deficit thing. UConn, though, might be slightly better than Central.

Boatwright, this guys makes incredible moves to set himself up for some easy shots, but just like previous years he cannot finish. He misses more easy shots than I can count. If he ever starts knocking some of these down, wow another weapon. Not optomistic at this point after 2+ years.

Check out his minutes in the first half and then tell me he was on the bench. He was out there. He was setting picks. No one said you shouldn't play hard. I said no need to get aggressive and take risks.

Lol brimah is so big he gets in the way of ryan and shabazz often...love this dude he alters so many shots

Bennie is one of the top recruits in the country, hope he comes to UConn.
