Big win!

While Louisville is a great team, they are going to have a rough time making the finals now. They will have to play 4 games in 2 days at this point before they even make the finals. The postponement of the game from last night to this morning really gave the loser of our game today a fairly big disadvantage. Hopefully we can capitalize on it!

We flat out dominated Ville in every aspect of the game. It's too bad Verdi made that error otherwise Marzi would have thrown a shutout. The Ville bench looked demoralized. We tagged Amlung all game, top to bottom. They never had a chance.

usf, pitching depth wise they are weaker i think.

Regardless of who we play tomorrow, they'll be throwing one of their midweek pitchers instead of a Big East pitcher. The odds are really shifted in the winner's bracket team's favor (obviously). I wonder how many times a team has won twice on Saturday to make it to the finals since this format was adopted (2006).
