i still do not get how 'nova is shooting almost 50% from beyond the arc. i can't see the game but UCONN knows 'nova has no inside game, and it's like UCONN has no idea 'nova launches a bunch of 3's. the radio announcers are saying 'nova is passing really well, but that UCONN simply isn't defending the 3 well enough. is that true for what you guys are seeing?
 
Sup fellow Husky fans. Man, we need Hayes to have games like this the rest of the year.

That was an ugly shot from Kelly that was way long. Villanova really does get into their heads and makes them play ugly.

i wonder if the coaches feel this is a worse performance than the FDU game, where they were completely disgusted. UCONN did have a great run in the 1st half where their defense as great...

Geno will be glad to get out with a win...in fact, he'll just be happy to have this game behind him. I doubt if the coaches will be "disgusted"--it's Nova, as someone mentioned above

You knew Ban ks was going to take that shot when she didn't pass the ball to a wide open Tiff. The foul bailed her out. :)
 
Tiffany if bringing a lot to the game today. On another note, I've seen exactly one good pass to the inside post today.
 
Ouch - BB missing 2 foul shots - and she was at about .88. When it goes bad it just goes bad.

This is the Tiff that I like to see. Getting nice looks...and the shots are falling for her...good job, Tiff
 
Hayes en fuego today. UCONN also shooting really well from 3 point land. the announcers said that 'nova has no one fast enough to keep up with Hayes. glad to see them pull away a bit. and as i say that 'nova hits another 3 pointer. 'nova was 6-23 vs. Marquette in their last game. today they are 10-23... i guess that's not THAT much of a difference, but it results in 12 points...
 
Nova is currently out rebounding the Huskies and the Huskies are currently 1-5 from the line.

Wish Caroline had taken that wide open 3 point shot in her home town game.
 
i wonder if stokes is back in the doghouse - i get a big matchup is not a good one vs. 'nova, but zero minutes for her? engeln in and no stokes...
