Damn. They made it further than I thought they would, but this is still upsetting. Just not enough hitting there at the end.

Terrible day. USF is not that good and we failed to close them out. USF will get slaughtered by St. John's as they have no pitching left and their offense sucks.

Feehan and the offense lost us this game. Great effort by Cross though.

It's a fitting ending to this season. Lose 1-0 and 2-1. 2 wild pitches to cost us game 2. What a horrible season Feehan had. If there is a bright side maybe he comes back next year and returns to his Freshmen and Sophomore year form. Then in the 9th. They catch a break and have a guy on second with no outs. Verdi comes up and what does he do, bunt the runner over to 3rd. No as always with this team swing at the first pitch and hit it to the SS, not the right side and runner can't advance. Terrible execution and fundamentals. Once again I find myself questioning Penders. Conner David one of your better young hitters doesn't even see an a bat this tourney. Don't get it especially considering the struggles at the plate.

USF hosting & playing in the BigEast Championship and there are about 100 people in the stands. What a shame.

With Martin, Mazilli & Fuller leaving that is the only power bats we have.
Hopefully Connor David can develope as a power hitter in college. He was at Cheshire high. Same with DeBellis. Yavaronne seems like a decent potential average hitter but little pop. Don't know about the incoming frosh regarding power potential at this level.
It looks like we'll need to play Oregon type small ball.
With Marzi, Ward, Cross, Tabakman, Dettmann, & Butler, we have solid starting pitching returning. The bullpen seems solid, but, most likely Oberg gets drafted and we'll need to develope another closer.

I think they had a ok attendance yesterday. U need to consider the crazy crazy softball weekend they had. They hosted the SR vs hogs tea. Friday night game went like 11 innings into the night then they played 2 more Saturday both long games also. That field is new and on campus for there spring sports fan base. They sold out+ each of the 3 games.
