UConn vs UCF prediction thread

UCONN in a funk offensively lately, and given how overly physical UCF plays, I think it will be a close game.

UCONN 72
UCF 61

PS I hope the team proves me wrong big time!!

.-.
Here’s a prediction and a question:
Prediction - Lou and Pheesa have their usual type game today. Lou: 18/11, Pheesa: 25/13.

Question: who steps up today? Does Crystal pick up where she left off with SMU? Does Christyn continue to make visual progress in her attempt to shake off the effects of the freshman wall?

Does one of the reserves have a breakout game today?

Nervous about this one. We struggled last year at UCF in an ugly game. UConn 65-64.

I predict that I’ll spend 2 hours watching an unwatchable game. UConn in a 50-38 slugfest. Megatron or Batouly will flatten a UCF player.

.-.
Upset city: UCF 55-54

Right prediction, wrong city. Chapel Hill North Carolina is today’s upset city. Notre Dame falls to the Tarheels 78-73. :D

Stanford also goes down in flames today. I guess you could say this is “upset “ Sunday.
UConn will NOT be part of the activities.

Sorry that there wasn't a thread posted, but I had problems getting logged in to the board since Thursday morning. HuskyNan and The Boneyard were working on a glich that it made impossible for me to get into the site. I just tried to get in just now and it seems to be fixed. I will now make my predictions and make sure everyone's is taken down. UConn 88 - UCF 60

Welcome back Sarg.

UCF athleticism will cause disrution but big game by Lou! UCONN wind 80-61

So glad I was wrong. Geno was right - team was shooting well and due for a big game. And if they keep that going Thursday in L'ville, that won't be a close game either. Go UCONN!

Agreed!! If UConn can play Thursday like they have these last two games, it won't be close. At one point in the first half, they were shooting 80% from the field. That's unconscious. Everything they put up was going in. Being on the road, I don't expect UConn to have that kind of "vibe". We'll see. UCF was good, but not a top 25 program.....yet. Louisville is right behind UConn at #3. Louisville comes in at 19-1. Their only loss being an 82-68 loss to Notre Dame. Should be a very good game. I sure enjoyed these last two. With the emergence of Megan Walker, the BIG 3 have become the BIG 4. :)
