Not liking this officiating...they were over officious from the get go and now they're losing control of the game.
 
I cannot believe these referees..... Enterline is the only steady one... The other two are need to go back to HS play...
 
10 TOs in the half, seemed like it might've been more. We're out of sync and PSU is keeping us comfortable by fouling us.
Geno will want to work a little coaching magic this halftime.
 
Tough first half...Nickson and Bentley with 3 fouls and Bentley 1 for 7...

These games are great preparation...let's hope we see a more tenacious offense in the 2nd half...defense is super...
 
PSU seems to be getting all the loose balls and out hustling UConn. UConn is playing great defense and poorly on offense. Hard to believe team could look so good against A&M and then so out of sync when playing Maryland now PSU.
 
Meanwhile, in the ref's break room, they are opening up a new box of whistles since all the whistle blowing in the first half wore out the whistles they started with.
 
Nobody seems to be seeking a body to block out on rebounds...we are giving up a lot of real estate...

This is the kind of game that UConn loses, when they get to scrambling, succumb to disruptive play on the part of the other guys and miss shots they usually make. Let's see what Geno comes up with in the second half.
 
PSt getting a lot of favorable bounces but our offense looks totally out of sync. Stef with 2 pts. and that was on a 15 footer.
 
SNY transmission is awful tonight. In and out....
 
On a minor note, it's annoying when you're trying to follow the box score at Gametracker and the people entering the data are messing up left and right.

Did you know that UConn apparently has two Brianna Banks, one wearing #12 and one wearing #13? They both have 4 points. :)
 
What did we have... 3 charges in the first half??? I have never seen that from UConn in one half... I think all of them were called by Dickerson... He is just awful...

Standing under the basket without putting a body up against somebody is ceding too much real estate...when you do that you make yopur own bad luck on bounces...

She is moving pretty fast...
 
Team has to pay more attention on their Free Throw shooting. Stef & Bria are having a poor year shooting free throws in comparison to prior years.

We're UConn and every game we get a team that understands they're playing the NY Yankees. The initial adrenaline rush can be like hitting a stone wall when it subsides. Between that, the talent and depth disparity, the final 20 minutes will be night and day. That and Geno raining down sulphur in the locker room!
