UConn vs Navy game thread

Two years of being relentlessly sold optimism, just to see this by Year 3. Utterly pathetic.

UConn's offense looks like it's trapped in a snow globe. It seems like the field extends maybe 8-10 yards in every direction. (Except backward - that's more like 20 yards.)

Meanwhile, Navy is a cut away from a TD on nearly every play.

It seems as if the Defense has given up more big plays in the first two games than all of last year. I thought that the philosophy was to bend but not break and to not let anyone get behind you downfield. We'll give you the nickel and dime stuff but you will not beat us over the top. So far, it looks as if we're incapable of stopping anything.

If they get a B12 invite might give him a couple more years to see if he can improve recruiting.

The current product is awful, I personally can't stand Shierffs and he's not one of the top 3 problems I know

So when I say this could be the final year of the Diaco regime if he doesn't turn it quickly is that still a crazy thought?

This is ridiculously bad. We can't do a single thing right.

Keep polishing that turd, Bob. Peace & love.

Why would you ever need to reference it? Are you writing a paper on a football team that has no arm in its offense and an inability to stop other teams on defense?
People want to go back and see if you were mean to the coach or players

Can't agree with this.

The whole point is to create turnovers by making the offense execute flawlessly. Eventually the turnovers come.

I bet you that bend-but-don't-break Ds produce as many--if not more--turnovers than aggressive Ds.

Did you ever see LT, The Steel Curtain or Bears 86 play?

I was hoping what i saw last week was an anaomaly. But this Uconn team is not good any facet of the game. and they are poorly coached, both in terms of discipline and play calling and scheme. The safeties are getting embarrassed today, so many missed assignments. the the offensive line just gets beaten on almost every play. NAvy could put up 50 today if they wanted to. Navy.

I am not sure there are two more wins on the schedule.

The question is if the new AD wants to bring in a competent staff. I suppose that all depends if there going to be a bump in revenues from a new conference. But the reality is this is year three with this guy, the team is awful, regressed and has a 9 seniors starting. not sure what hope there is. I suspect when the B12 goes with a different school, Uconn will move on from trying to compete in football entirely

So I can tell people like you to stfu.

When are they going to start attacking instead of reacting. Worst safety play I ever seen

Does Edsall live in Maryland? If I were Benedict, I would be calling Edsall to see if he could take this team over in the second half, and I don't even like Edsall.

I'm ready #Forgive
