UConn vs. MSU Game Thread

With UConn playing it's more and MS playing their best it's still single digits

Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds. And no Collier or Lou.

Heads not in the game - 1 offensive bound, missed foul shots, losing on the glass, no ball movement...

Ok so competitive half.

Good news : Kia and phees are rested.

Lou really needs to help a bit.

Defense defense defense.

Good game

Would like to see KLS be much more aggressive, I don't think she has any fouls.

She's not moving well without the ball at all.

If we could get something, anything, from our two AA first teamers we will be OK. Whenever we are on offense it feels like there are 7 MSU defenders out there.

UConn did not come out prepared. They looked a lot better in the 2nd quarter. First three minutes in the 3rd will likely determine outcome. The defense MUST force some turnovers,.

Do they film the final episode of March to Madness if we lose? I hate playing quarters instead of halves. It's an advantage to the underdog when the give breaks in the game. They can focus on breaking the game into smaller pieces. I think with halves teams tend to panic because the game seems so much bigger.

And the MissSt center will start the third, she owned us before her foul trouble.

The walls and doors might be rattling in UConn's locker room. Geno had sweat running down his face in the 2nd quarter, so it is probably real ugly in the locker room.

UConn getting beaten badly on the boards. That is the difference. Miss St is only shooting 38% field goals.

That and not preventing dribble penetration.
