Mississippi State so far outplaying UConn on both ends. There's multiple things UConn needs to work on, but I'd start with rebounding. Losing the boards that badly without even McCowan in the game is a recipe for serious trouble.

Give MSS credit. Their strategy of taking UConn high and daring them to dribble drive into length has kept Collier off the block and Lou off the arc. It hasn't helped that UConn has looked confused as to how to attack this strategy. Gabby has had her moments, but no one else.

Mississippi State was a really, really good team early on. I thought they were maybe the best team in the country before UConn emerged unquestionably. Then they had that patch of bad behavior/bad play. Then they recovered. Why shouldn't they play this well?
