UCONN vs Houston Game Thread

Wow. Small lineup. Let's see what happens with this, Kentan at the 5...

Okay, I'm going to give some props to Enoch here. Outside shot by Houston goes up, I'm watching what's going on under the basket. Enoch doesn't get the rebound, but he solidly blocks out Meyers who killed us last game with his offensive rebounds. On UConn's very next possession, he sets a solid screen for Adams who drives by him and hits a nice 5-ft floater. So even without touching the ball, I see his game improving with playing time. Go Steve!

Killing us inside
Not as much as last game IMO. Around this time last game Uconn was really getting creamed. They are...respectable this time. Not great, but holding their own down low.

Sorry, I meant defensively with Enoch. They went twice to the hole with ease. Agree they are much tougher on the boards.

not our best player but you can see the difference when he is in vs Enoch.
Great effort, great game. Have the feeling Jalen will take us from here.
His impact is so much bigger than his numbers, and I include TO in that statement.

Brimah changed that shot. Nice D, big fella...

Amida, Jalen, and Rod will carry us. Never underestimate the heart and talent of a champion(Brimah). Amida is a beast.

PS: This is actually Ollie's best coached gamed of the year believe it or not. Making the right calls and substitutions and timeouts.

Agree on PS

There have been at least three possessions that will not be seen in the stat sheet, but Brimah absolutely changed them...
