Simeone dances around a runner @ second w/ two Ks and a nice play on a bunt by Langer to get out of the inning. 3-0 UConn.
 
Nucerino doubles in B2 but nothing else. Simeone heading back out.
 
What is wrong with this team. What do they not get about baserunning. Why do they continue to just make silly mistakes.

Not so much with winning teams. I get it happens, but the teams that keep it to a minimum are the ones that make the tourney and advance.
 
And it just happened again. Unbelievable. Have just cost yourself a bigger inning now in the first and third innings. And instead it will be a close nail bitter of a game.

Obviously need to keep it to a minimum and good teams do. But I think it's a bit of an overreaction, it's not so much a UConn problem

I've been following them the last 5 or 6 years so I'd say long enough. Not a UConn problem as in it's not only UConn doing this, but it does happen every year

CFed backward K but KFed drives a ball to deep LF (just under it) for sacrifice RBI. 4-1.

Philips HBP - runners on corner. Woodworth scores on error by 1B and Winkel then drives in Phillips w/ two out double. 6-1.
 
Mayock comes out for the T6 after Langer ends 5th inning on groundout.

Angus gives up a HPB and a double but gets out of the inning w/o any damage (3 more Ks bringing his total to 5 today).

Penders' players play exactly the way he wants them to play. Taking chances on the basepaths has been his hallmark since he began coaching.
