Some might say he's been 100% grade A today.Angus has been impressive. Nice to see.

Mayock comes out for the T6 after Langer ends 5th inning on groundout.
Penders' players play exactly the way he wants them to play. Taking chances on the basepaths has been his hallmark since he began coaching. What is wrong with this team. What do they not get about baserunning. Why do they continue to just make silly mistakes.
Karl Johnson coming into pitch. Job well done by Angus (3.0IP, 1H, 5K).
Listened to the game on the way home, sounded like good work from both Simeone and Mayock.
Any word on why Kenny Haus did not start?
I didn't catch the pre-game w/ Crispino but don't remember it being discussed once game started.

Sanderson gives up lead-off single but throws a scoreless inning. 9-1 heading to B8
Some might say that is not true when it comes to being too aggressive at the plate which is also his philosophy. That makes it easier on the pitcher especially in the College game where pitchers tend to be wild. From listening to his interviews over the years, Penders definitely believes that in the college game you gain more than you lose by being aggressive in all facets of the game. Among other things, he believes it forces the other team to make plays and mistakes. Still, I expect he will be critical of the Fedko's and their base running in the post game interviews.
Man, Santos must be in the doghouse after the UMass fiasco.
