-> UConn looks to bounce back against CCSU on Monday. The Blue Devils are 6-12 on the season and will face RHP Stephen Quigley, who is coming off a complete game performance against Rutgers last Sunday.

The Huskies are 36-9 all-time against CCSU and are riding a seven-game winning streak in the series. <-
 
Chris Jones says that after pitching today, S. Quigley will get his next weekend start this coming Sunday. That is what I was expecting.

Bottom 2nd, with 1 out Shpur is hit by a pitch, Shpur then steals 2B. Padilla follows with a 1 out RBI double, 3-1 UConn. UConn offense loads the bases with 1 out on a walk by Studley and a hit by pitch. Morton with a sac fly to make the score 4-1 UConn. Broadhurst follows with an RBI single, 5-1 UConn. After a pitching change, Garbowski with an RBI single, 6-1 UConn. Minick gets hit by a pitch to load the bases again. Dalena follows with 2 run RBI single, 8-1 UConn.

Bottom 2nd, Shpur gets a walk to load to bases again, but that is it for this inning, 8-1 UConn, with the Huskies picking up 6 runs that inning.
 
Top 3rd, S. Quigley gives up a 2 out 3 run homer. 8-4 UConn. The next batter gets a double, followed by an RBI single, 8-5 UConn going to the bottom of the inning.
