UConn vs #16 Colgate - 7pm - MyTV9

OOps. 1st goal was by Schwartz and the 2nd was by Masonius.

Now 2-1 UConn

Great 5 on 3.

14th win against ranked teams.

Are we close to maybe getting some votes for a ranking?

For those interested I will be posting the 3rd period of this game on UConnHuskyGames. Found late that the game was on but got the 3rd period. Should be up soon. Will post the link

As of dec 4th, UML has 36 votes and BU has 28.

Heck, Even UMass has 6.

All have somewhat similar records.

I know Uconn is new to the game, but it should be getting close to getting some attention nationally in terms of rankings (at least some votes)

Who would have thought with losing Thompson to the NHL we’d be even better scoring (leading the hockey east at last check) and would be fairly competent defensively in our own zone for the first time in years.
This is a fun team to watch

Crowd wasnt great but better tha. Usual this year
I’ll guess attendance was high 3’s low 4’s let’s say 4085

I’ve been going to games for awhile now. This was one of the better efforts I’ve seen. Great way to go into the break. Glad I went....almost gave the tickets away.

UConn would probably be closer to getting votes if their record was over .500. They are currently 8-11-2.

Late arriving....at game time it looked pretty sparse. Filled in though.

The 1-1 tie with OSU and the 1-0 loss to UML would have made a big difference.( I know...duh)

It's one of those things. Keep winning and the votes for a ranking will eventually come. Also remember, not too long ago people were screaming about the poor performance of the team. Things really started to turn around when Payusov came back from his injury and got back into the lineup.

While there have been some bad games, there have been enough positives for me to feel we are moving in the right direction. I forgot to mention the OT loss to Maine to start the year...another one that could have gone our way. I’m pleased with the overall result of the first half....obviously fueled by this late run of wins. This team is starting to play with confidence.

^^^^ yeah, ever since NU game. Plus, Once payusov came back = whole different team.

Imagine if we won @ UMass?
It woulda been 6 in a row!!!

Just like last year, had an early 2 goal lead to eventually give it up.

Gotta win those games...

Unfortunately not at game. 1st one I've missed in awhile.

I heard somewhat over the stream...
Did karashik(sp?) get hurt?

Yeah...I was surprised I didn’t see you there....never even heard mention of AK tonight. Felt like he hadn’t played well last couple of games....maybe just a scratch?

I think I heard the announcers say something like AK left the ice with some pain? Not sure if he came back into play after that. Wasn't exactly sure when it happened

Don’t remember hearing his name at all...but I was with my dad and brother in law....a lot of chatting going on.

I agree and have posted that as well, but wight coming back from injury has helped a lot also.

Austin's post game mentioned wight. He is hardly mentioned, but I enjoy his effort. Glad he is back.

Seeing better efforts all around, but Wight is of note. 2 goal game against UMass was big for him. Loved our penalty kill tonight.
