With 1 out, Afthim walks a batter, and with 2 out he hits a batter. A single drives in a run, 5-4 Villanova.

A 2 out walk loads the bases. A strikeout ends the inning. 5-4 Villanova.
 
Top 9th, Rispoli leads off with a double, Shpur follows with with a no out infield single that puts runners on the corners, Shpur steals 2B. The runners advance a base on a no out wild pitch, game tied at 5.

A sac fly for the 1st out by Daniels gives UConn a 6-5 lead.

A 1 out walk by Minick. Biller follows with an RBI double, 7-5 UConn.

Biller is left on base.

Lane and Padilla have had rough games, but the rest of the offense has been productive.
 
Bottom 9th, after hitting a batter with 2 outs followed by an infield single, Afthim leaves the runners on base. UConn wins 7-5, and sweeps its 4th Big East series this season. Wow!

It seems that in baseball on all levels that it is not all that easy to sweep a series. Thus, getting at least 4 conference sweeps in a season is a pretty impressive thing.
