Sorry, appears to be a bad link.
Yeah actually it wasn’t.Vermont wins it in OT on the power play. Very good game played by both squads. UConn had some quality chances but couldn’t get it passed the VT goaltender. Really good college hockey game. UConn will have another chance tomorrow. Go Huskies!!!!
They had a chance to fix it correctly, but they went for the bandaid approach. Great decision by some unknown bureaucrat...I said the same thing... between the 70 & 80 degree days this week and the XLs old refrigeration system the ice seemed terrible.
Looked like a definite hold- he gets him super early and just doesn’t let go.Terrible call by the Zebra in OT. It was either a no call or they both go.
We did well and carried the play. It's a shame to lose on a crap call. Having said that, the ice at XL Center sucks! We were losing edges and the puck travel was uneven. There were wet spots until the 4 minute mark. The reno can't come soon enough.
I once sat for the CPA exam on the floor of the Civic Center.Solution? Schedule the XL games in January & February.
Oops….that might conflict with the Wolfpack, UConn men’s and women’s basketball, Disney-on-Ice, Monster Trucks, B-level concerts, or anything else that trumps UConn hockey.
Vermont just took Providence to OT twice last week. Waaaaay too early to say who is crap and who isn't. We all thought this UConn team was going to suck and they don't.Yeah actually it wasn’t.
Not that worried in that a young team learns a lesson but there’s absolutely no sugarcoating losing to a winless team.
Vermont played like the bad team they are.
You’ve got to consider the source.Vermont just took Providence to OT twice last week. Waaaaay too early to say who is crap and who isn't. We all thought this UConn team was going to suck and they don't.
Get a regulation win today and it's been a productive weekend
