Top 6th, Taylor leads off with a bunt single, he advances to 2B on that play on a throwing error, and Rispoli follows with a walk. The runners both advance a base on a ground out for the 1st out. A run scores on a 1 out error that puts both runners in scoring position. 3-2 Portland.

Polemeni follows with a 1 out 3 run homer. 5-3 UConn.

Wachter gets a 2 out single, he advances to 2B on a passed ball. Righi draws a walk. They are left on base. 5-3 UConn.

They gave the right fielder an error on Marshall's AB. Hopefully they fix that. No error should have been given.

Bottom 7th, after striking out the lead off batter, Suchy comes out of the game. Suchy threw 106 pitches in this game. Shaw takes the mound.

Shaw gives up a 2 out walk, the runner steals 2B. A single drives in a run. 7-5 Portland.

Menzel gets a single to load the bases. The runners are left on base. Portland wins 8-6.
