West back in to start the inning. Gets 2 outs then walks the 3rd batter of the inning and his day is one.

West coming out of the game after giving up a 2 out walk in the bottom of the 6th, Hale takes to mound.

Hale gets a fly out to end the inning. 5-2 Portland.
 
Charlie Hale comes in and gets a fly out for the final out. 5-2 heading to top 7.

You either eat very fast (me) or very little. That seemed quick. Was it good? Looks like my dinner will be pasta with chunks of chicken and then we use the Good Seasons mix with Balsamic vinegar as the sauce. It's pretty good when you give the dressing time to set, but not as much if you make it before chow. Today is a make it before show day. 😭

Yes it was a good dinner that my wife made. It was not a big dinner, but it was certainly good. And it consisted of some pasta as well.

A 1 out double by Righi drives in 2 runs, the game is tied at 5.

Rispoli follows with a 1 out single driving in a run. 6-5 UConn.

With 1 out Rispoli steals 2B. Polemeni gets a 2 out single that drives in a run. 7-5 UConn.

Polemeni steals 2B. Marshall draws a 2 out walk. The 2 runners are left on base.

Bottom 8th, Hale gives up a lead single followed by a walk.

I'll probably be back posting after the UConn basketball game is done, no doubt during the 2nd baseball game.
 
With 1 out, Marshall is hit by a pitch. He moves to 2nd on a ground out to short. Wachter Ks to send it to the bottom of the 9th, still 8-5 good guys.
