Ok, now I don't feel so bad as their pitching just gave us one.

As many mistakes as we have made, UCF has made even more. How do you not throw strikes in this situation...

lol what a classically college-level baseball game. Happy to come out on the right side, though!

After yesterday you take the series win and anything it takes. Hopefully get some mid week games in this week...one can hope.

This could change a bit as other results come in, but UConn's RPI after taking 2 of 3 against UCF is now 19. While it may not feel that way, that is terrific.

Any word on Polonia, Dandaneau or Rajkowski.

It didn't help that the game was not on the radio, but I had some distractions going on here while I was trying to follow the game. Chris Jones did talk about them on the All Access broadcast on the UConn website, but I didn't catch the details. It did sound like one of them might be due back possibly this week. From previous updates it seemed that all three would be back sometime in April.

Thanks for the update, not sure which sport, hockey or baseball is harder to get information.

UConn baseball would be a lot more difficult if it weren't for the efforts of Chris Jones and his radio broadcasts of the games and the various interviews he does. At any rate, in any of the college Olympic sports you really have to be on your toes and pay attention to stay informed.

Also, Colby Dunlop started today, even though he went only a brief stint. I suppose it could be him. I'm suspecting it will be some sort of staff day, although in the past if the starter in one of those games does really well they tend to stay in for a bit.
