Bottom 8th, after a leadoff single and a 1 out walk, Caruso has a scoreless inning with an inning ending double play. 14-6 UConn.

Nice to see Caruso have a decent outing after great outing midweek. He can be very useful against lefties.

So Biller and now Dougherty have caught fire. Pitching wise, Ellison outside the bad inning was very good and another good outing from Caruso and Peters. So far, this week we have seen Daniels go off, the lineup lengthen and signs of upside from Peters, Hutchinson and Caruso. 3 weeks ago, we looked very vulnerable. Hopefully more guys can contribute and add to the trust level.
