-> St. John's and UConn will meet for the 130th time in the all-time series when this weekend's set kicks off on Friday afternoon. The Huskies hold a 67-62 all-time advantage over the Red Storm, but the Johnnies hold a slim 32-28 edge in Queens. <-

there pitching staff does not strikeout many and they don't hit many home runs. Fielding percentage is the only thing they seem to do slightly better then UConn. If the Huskies pick it and throw strikes this should go in our favor.

Minick and Pudvar are playing again, that is so good.

Garbowski also getting playing time, he is back from another injury as well. Of course Lane and his hitting have been getting better as the season goes along.

Top 1st, the leadoff batter Rispoli is hit by a pitch. Rispoli moves to 2B on a sac bunt for the 1st out. Daniels follows with a 1 out RBI double, 1-0 UConn.

Minick follows with a 1 out RBI single, 2-0 UConn going to the bottom of the inning.

You have to figure in a double header they are going to give both catchers one game if they are both healthy enough

Top 2nd, Padilla leads off with a double, he moves to 3B on a sac bunt for the 1st out. Rispoli draws a 2 out walk that puts runners on the corners. The runners are stranded. 2-0 UConn.

Bottom 2nd, Pudvar gives up a 2 out single followed by a walk, another single drives in a run and puts runners on the corners, 2-1 UConn.

The runner on 1B steals 2B. A foul pop out ends the inning. 2-1 UConn.
