Bottom 3rd, with 1 out and 2 runners in scoring position, a pop out to shallow outfield, and Bushling gets thrown out at the plate to end the inning with no runs scoring. 1-0 UConn.

Do have to say, quite a change to see colleges shifting away from natural grass. Old school aesthetics are fading fast.

Bottom 4th, after 2 outs, UConn puts 2 runners in scoring position. Nothing comes from the 2 out rally attempt. 1-0 Huskies.

UConn has had some decent/long @ bats but you can see why McLinskey’s ERA is what it is with his breaking ball.

Top 5th, Peterson gets in a jam with runners at 2nd and 3rd with no outs (Brown with a throwing error on a bunt). A ground out brings in a run for Seton Hall to tie the game at 1. A 2 out triple makes it 2-1 for the Pirates. A strikeout ends the inning.

Top 6th, Seton Hall with a 2 run homer with no outs. 4-3 Pirates. After a fly out for the 1st out of the inning, Peterson comes out, Kenny Haus coming in to pitch.

An insane turn around year for Winkel

Most home runs Winkel had in a season before this one was 4, so his power has really exploded this season in addition to his turnaround from the beginning of the year.

What a wild night!!! The lead in this game is like a pendulum back and forth!
