I've been amazed for 20 years that non-customers think it's their right to tell customers how early they have to be in their seats.

Well I’m a “customer“ and I believe we should be in our seats by kickoff. It sends a message to the TV audience that we care about this sport. There’s no argument that seeing a full raucous fanbase provides a game with the juice that makes a viewer stay tuned in. The converse is also true. Winning will clearly help but sometimes eggs need to come before chickens.
