UConn v. Michigan State @ Fluor Field in Greenville S.C. (Fri. 3/15 @ 5p, Sat. 3/16 Dbl Header @ 1p & 5p and Sun. 3/17 @ 11a)

Both the younger versions of Fedko/Winkel are coming on very nicely of late.

Of course, after writing that Kyler commits an error in right field, putting a runner at 3B.

Sac fly for Michigan State makes it 5-2 UConn in the bottom of the 4th inning, one out with a runner at 1B. So far the run is unearned, that could change.

5-2 UConn after 4 innings. Feole at 84 pitches, maybe he will go one more inning.

.-.
Let's get into their bullpen. Will help to tire out those arms with 4 games in 3 days.

We'll be seeing their bullpen soon. Michigan State pitcher is at 117 pitches after 5 innings.

Back to back doubles brings in a run for Michigan State with no out. 6-3 UConn. Figure Feole will be coming out pretty soon.

.-.
Runners at the corners, no out, Feole coming out, Avery Santos coming in.

Santos loads the bases with 2 out. Santos coming out, he's going to bury himself in this bullpen with performances like this. Dandeneau coming in.

Dandeneau gets a strikeout to end the inning. 6-5 UConn going to the top of the 6th.

6-5 after 5. Gotta keep scoring with our pitchers unable to throw strikes.

Our pitching appears to be like our 3 point shooting today.

Dandeneau has been very reliable up to now. Santos has not. Feole will certainly see better days.

Might just see CJ and Wallace the rest of the way. Their bullpen is a tire fire so I suspect both gamed tomorrow will be shootouts.

It will be interesting to see how far Dandeneau goes here, there is a potential for burning him for the rest of the series.

Back to back Fedko walks (preceded by a Pat Winkel walk) brings in a run for UConn to make it 7-5. 1 out, bases loaded, top 6th. Pitching change for the Spartans.

Brodnansky grounds into a double play to end the inning. 8-5 UConn lead going to the bottom of the 6th.
