I don't know the answer but it's worth noting that the last game was also free live. So not sure if you'd have to pay for the replay too for Michigan State

I am by no means an expert on the tech stuff but if you have YTTV or Hulu Live i’m pretty sure you can get CBS channel 3 with a VPN in the Hartford area code

Unclear there’s any cost to watch via UConn+ app nor WFSB app, but if so Michigan State fans can contribute the cost of a craft beer or a foofy coffee to UConn’s athletic department.

If it’s pay to watch, 8 bucks is NBD for many people. Others will just skip watching the preseason scrimmage live.

I've had issues trying to use a vpn...I tried to get NY teams when I am in Fla...and it shows me the local fla channels even though using a NY based address...seems like data other than vpn location are used.

But if you have an android, you can download an app call Fake GPS and you can spoof your location to wherever you want. This is how I watch any NFL game when I'm not in the market for the game.
