UConn v. Memphis @ J.O.C - Friday 4/7@ 3p, Saturday 4/8@ 1p & Sunday 4/9@ 11a

Mason Feole is off to a good start. Allows a two out infield single, but otherwise has a pretty easy time of retiring the Memphis side in the top of the 1st inning.

Feole through 3 innings. No runs, 3 hits, 3 strikeouts, no walks, 37 pitches. He has his control and is doing well.

We fail to take advantage of two leadoff hits in the bottom of the 4th. Extremely frustrating.

Still 1-0

We're hitting, but a combination of a lack of clutch hitting and tremendous defense by Memphis is keeping the tigers in the game. 1-0 UConn going to the 6th.

Lambrecht with an RBI triple!!! Prato, who has heated up significantly, is the one who touched home plate. 2-0 UConn going to the 7th.

Feels is cruising, I'd give him a shot at the complete game at 99 pitches.

Hmmm...maybe, but Feole is still only a freshman. It'll be curious what Penders decides to do here.

Winkel with a double. Runners on 2nd and 3rd and 2 outs. A clutch hit essentially ends the game.

Back to back singles with 2 outs...never easy with this team.

But Radue gets the next batter to fly out harmlessly. Awesome series, a great week next week and we are probably going to be ranked.

Ball game over! B2B weekend sweeps...
